Micol Salmeri is a Senior Associate with the 2050 Pathways Platform. She manages our work with member countries, grantees, and partners, directly supporting countries in elaborating their long-term strategies. Micol also works on raising national and international ambition.
Prior to joining the Platform, Micol worked in consulting roles with the Carbon Trust and EcoAct, advising public sector and business clients across the globe on a wide range of energy and climate change issues, collaborating with organizations such as UN Environment, UNIDO, AfDB and IDB. Micol holds an MSc in Economics and Policy of Energy and the Environment from UCL London, a MSc in International Public Policy and Management from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a BSc in Economics from Bocconi University Milan. She is fluent in English, French, Italian and German and has a good understanding of Spanish.
