The 2050 Pathways Platform co-hosted a high-level event with the Fiji Presidency to discuss progress on long-term pathways and ambition, featuring the Marshall Islands, Germany, Ethiopia, New Zealand, Mexico, and Laurence Tubiana, founder of the 2050 Pathways Platform.
It provided a unique opportunity hear also from other countries (France, Spain, Sweden, China, Tuvalu the European Commission) on progress towards carbon neutrality, and the elaboration of robust and inclusive pathways. Representatives from regions and business also re-iterated support to a long-term ambitious focus as a driver of near-term transformative action.
