European Union
The EU cemented its ‘climate neutrality’ by 2050 target into its long-term strategy, submitted on 6 March, 2o20.

Slovakia is also aiming for climate neutrality by 2050 in its strategy, submitted to the UNFCCC on 30 March, 2020.

Singapore
Singapore submitted its LTS and a new NDC concurrently. In the long-term strategy, Singapore sets out the goal to reduce emissions 50% from the 2030 peak, down to 33 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent by 2050, with a view to achieving net-zero emissions as soon as viable in the second half of the century.
